UTTARAKHAND METRO RAIL RECRUITMENT 2024: Uttarakhand Metro Rail Corporation (UKMRC) is looking for a talented pool of candidates of Indian nationality for the posts of DGM (architect) and assistant manager (Town planner). There are 2 vacancies for these positions (one for each).

According to the official notification, the maximum age limit for applicants appointed on a deputation or direct basis should be between 45 to 50 years. However, for re-employed, the maximum age limit is 62 years. Eligible and interested candidates can apply through offline mode. The selected candidates will hold their positions for 3 years. Candidates will be chosen based on their performance in the interview.

UTTARAKHAND METRO RAIL RECRUITMENT 2024: Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification

• DGM (Architect)

To apply for the post, candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in architecture from a recognized university. 

• Assistant manager (Town planner) 

An aspirant should have a bachelor’s degree in architecture civil engineering or planning from a recognized university. 

Required experience 

• DGM (Architect)

Potential aspirants are required to have experience in designing large-scale commercial buildings. 

• Assistant manager (Town planner) 

Candidates should have experience in traffic studies, urban planning, transport planning, DPR preparation, land monetization, and so on. 

Age limit 

• For DGM (architect)

The maximum age of the candidate should be 50 years for candidates who are selected on a direct/deputation basis. 

The maximum age of the candidate should be 62 years for candidates who are selected on a Re-employment basis. 

• For assistant manager (Town manager) 

The candidate’s maximum age should be 45 years for candidates selected on a direct/deputation basis. 

The candidate’s maximum age should be 62 years for candidates selected on a re-employment basis.

Salary for Uttarakhand metro rail recruitment 2024:

According to the official notification, the candidate will receive a monthly consolidated salary that lies in between the range from Rs. 15600 to Rs. 200000. 

• DGM (architect) salary: 

Candidates who are selected for direct recruitment will get a monthly salary of Rs. 70000 to Rs. 200000 IDA plus other allowances. Candidates who are selected on a deputation basis will get a monthly salary of Rs. 15600 to 39100 plus grade pay of Rs. 7600 in CDA plus all other applicable allowances. 

However, candidates who are appointed on a re-employment basis will get a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 93200. 

• Assistant manager (Town planner)  

Candidates that got selected for direct recruitment will get a monthly salary of Rs. 50000 to Rs. 160000 IDA plus other allowances. Candidates who got selected on a deputation basis will get a monthly salary of Rs. 15600 to Rs. 39100 plus grade pay of Rs. 5400 in CDA plus other allowances. 

However, candidates who are appointed on a re-employment basis will get a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 63800. 

Procedure to file an application!

The envelope must be super-scribed with “Application for the post of _____ against”. No other mode of application is accepted to apply for the posts successfully. 

Tenure for UKMRC Recruitment 2024 

The engagement duration for the posts will be a minimum period of 3 years. If an employee is seeking resignation from the corporation then a prior notice of three months shall be required. 

• Probation

The applicant selected on a direct recruitment basis will be on probation for 2 years.
