UP Teacher Recruitment 2024: The Education Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mr Sandeep Singh has opened up about the unfilled number of vacancies in the state. He said that approximately 85,152 vacancies are unfilled for assistant teachers and headmasters in the Uttar Pradesh State.

However, the ratio of student and teacher is maintained with the inclusion of the number of instructors and Shiksha Mitras in the school. And, there is no issue with the study of the students. He also stated during the question hour in the Legislative Assembly, the Shiksha Mitras and Instructors are doing their best and cooperate well in the studies of the students.

Mr. Sandeep Singh who is the education minister of Uttar Pradesh has recently joined the Legislative Assembly for the Budget Session. Here, he addressed the queries under the question hour and revealed the unfilled vacancies of Assistant Teachers and Headmasters in the state. Although there are 85,152 vacancies unfilled, no issue has been seen in the study. With the inclusion of Instructors and Shiksha Mitras, the required ratio is maintained ensuring no issue with the study of the students.

He also stated that we have a total of 628915 teachers available including Shiksha Mitras, part-time instructors, and assistant teachers all over the state. In 2017, we have recruited 126371 new teachers for the schools. The student’s numbers are 10,506,379 which we have enrolled in primary schools. So, we have a 31:1 student and teacher ratio that is appropriate for the study purpose in the school.
