FSSAI RECRUITMENT 2024: Eligibility criteria

Age limit

According to the official notification, the maximum age limit for the designated position is 65 years.

Educational Qualification

FSSAI shall be persons of eminence in the field of Food Science or persons from Administration who are associated with the subject and holding a position which is not below the rank of secretary to the Govt. of India. Also, the candidates should possess the relevant work experience of the regulatory bodies.

FSSAI RECRUITMENT 2024: Salary

The selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 225000. One can apply for the post till 31st August 2024 and the applications received after the last date won’t be accepted.

FSSAI RECRUITMENT 2024: Tenure

According to the official notification, the applicants will be appointed for 3 years from the day when they start working in the office. However, they will be eligible to stay as chairperson for another 03 years or until they get 65 years old. Whichever comes first will be used to apply for the post.
