The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) published the official recruitment notification for the post of Junior Hindi Translator (JHT). This recruitment drive deadline for submission of the online application form is 25th August 2024. The age criteria to apply for this post must be 18 to 30 years. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill the vacancies of 312 seats in the organization.

Candidate must have postgraduation degree from a government-approved university and Diploma certificate course in translation from Hindi to English or 3 years of experience as a translator in Central or State Government of India.

Syllabus of SSC JHT Exam 2024

SSC JHT syllabus comprises 2 papers. Paper 1 comprises topics and sub-topics from the field of Hindi and General English while paper 2 consists of topics for translation and essay. This is a national-level exam and the exam mode of paper 1 is online while paper 2 is based on offline mode.

• The duration of the exam is two hours for both papers while the total number of questions is 100 in each paper.

• There will be negative marks for each incorrect answer -0.25
